    Paper Bag Manufacturer

    Leadership Development Programme

Breaking down a hundred years of 'us and them' across factory floor and office.

    Aligned management

One approach across supervisors and senior leaders instead of two competing cultures.

    Barriers broken

Factory floor and office functions began collaborating and communicating respectfully.

    Ownership

Managers understood and acted on what they were accountable for.

    The company

An established paper bag manufacturer supplying bespoke bags for fast food, pharmacy and retail across the UK and Europe.

    The problem

A family business operating for over 100 years across three sites. After moving to a new site the old cultures remained, damaging production, morale and growth. The siloed operation had leadership challenges between the factory floor and the office.

    The requirement

    What the client needed.

Create the necessary mindset at all levels of management to ensure ownership and commitment to sustainable high performance, giving everyone a common language through the change programme.

    01

    Accountability

Educate managers on what they were accountable for.

    02

    Change of mindset

At all levels of management, towards ownership and sustained performance.

    03

    Educate

Give managers the skills to have the conversation rather than turning a blind eye.

    The challenge

An 'us and them' attitude over a hundred years old, an active union, and the mindset of 'how it was always done'.

    The solution

    What we actually did.

The programme supported managers with new management practices and the positive impact they had on operational performance.
We delivered the conscious enabling mindset interventions and facilitated the functions to collaborate and communicate respectfully with each other.

    A platform + a team of experts.

The practitioners who ran this work are the same people at the end of your call.
